Description
Here is a pair of metal base Philips Miniwatt EL34 valves.
The Philips Miniwatt, Holland made metal base EL34 is one of the most desirable EL34 ever produced. The tubes have date code SY1 56I and SY1 56G, which puts their production date in 1956. The metal base of one of the tubes is slightly corroded (see peicture) this however does not influences the performance. They are used but have NOS specs. These are the King of the EL34. Introduced in 1953, the metal base EL34 was the first version, and some say the best sounding, of the EL34 / 6CA7 family of tubes.
The metal base Philips Miniwatt EL34 is considered by many as the best sounding of all EL34 tubes ever.
They deliver superior sonics. I refer to the many reviews on the web.
The pair has NOS test values and good looks.
Note: my tubes are often not the cheapest. But is very hard to find better tubes !
Please read our test and shipping policy before buying !
