Description
Pair: Valvo ECC83 made in the Hamburg plant; February & March 1961
This is a pair Valvo ECC63 produced in Hamburg Germany. They have a tilted small o-getter.
The Hamburg production is highly regarded. Very healthy tubes with matching systems; see test results.
Sonics
The acoustic properties of the early Hamburg production are legendary and widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information. Excellent preamp valve, low noise, very smooth extended highs, very good in phono stages. Balanced and smooth sounding with liquid midrange, recommended!
