Here is a of Philips Miniwatt metal base GZ34 tube; old production, produced in the Sittard factory in Holland. The tube bears date code: tv1 56G, which puts its production date in July 1956. The GZ34 is a full wave rectifier. The tube has two top D-getters and is produced in the fifties. The Philips metal base GZ34 is famous for its contribution to the tonal quality of tube amplifiers and their extreme long life.
