GE 5751 five stars, supplied in 1958 by Telefunken as JAN Telefunken
Rare black plates, triple micas version ! Ultra low noise level!
This is a 5751 tube (ECC803S equivalent), made in the General Electric plant in in OWENSBORO, KY, USA. The five star triple-mica version with black plates; one of the finest ECC83. The getter has a closed u-shape (see pictures). The 5751WA is a low noise version of the E83CC; equivalent to the ECC803S. The tube has a triple mica reinforcement plates (for low microphone!) and a tilted round halo getter. The tube has excellent test values that match the factory specifications very well and balanced systems.
This 5751 from General Electric has two date indications on the tube: 57-34 (1957 week 34) and 58-22 (1958 week 22). The tube is packaged and delivered as Jan 5751 by Telefunken GmbH Ulm with the date 3/58 (1958) on the box. So for military use!
Sound Characteristics
This is the classic beauty in sound, highly regarded by many audiophiles. The tone is described as detailed, articulate and warm.

The measurement data below show that both tubes are matched and balanced. And fulfill the factory specs of a new/NOS (E83CC) tube.
