This military spec 5814A is a premium quality 12AU7A tube is made by Sylvania in the USA. It has long grey plates (USA tube) with copper grid posts and a halo getter on copper post. The 5814A is a very reliable, long life and low noise version of a 12AU7A tube which is meant for military, professional or postal purposes. The tube is manufactured in the sixties.
