Description
This is an extremely rare pair E88CC tubes. The text BRUIKLEEN NATLAB is etched on both tubes. This means that the tubes were selected for used and testing in the Physical laboratory of Philips Eindhoven in the Netherlands where the NatLab of Philips is situated. These tubes are the cream of the 1958 production !
NAT.LAB stands for Natuurkundig Laboratorium which translates into Physical laboratory
The pair is a very early Philips Miniwatt E88CC tubes made by Philips in the Netherlands (Heerlen plant). Tubes have grey shield and D-getter. Very strong tubes with matching systems. Very reliable, long life and low noise version of a ECC88 tube only used for military or postal purposes. The tubes have super balanced and strong specs. The properties of the Philips Miniwatt E88CC are legendary and widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information. The tubes are manufactured in 1958 and 1958.
The tubes are thoroughly tested. The matched pair has strong test values that match the factory specifications very well and and both tubes have balanced systems. See test results below.
