Description

Tungsram located in Hungary was known for their light bulbs and electronics. Before the nationalization of the Communist Government in 1945, the company was the world’s third largest manufacturer of light bulbs and radiotubes, after the American General Electric and RCA companies.

This ECC83 tube is produced by Tungsram in Újpest; which today is a part of Budapest. The tube has a double post halo-getter and copper grid posts, see pictures. The tubes show no signs of use and are most likely never used. See pictures.

This tube is pretty rare and unknown. Maybe a hidden secret; the rare owners mention an excellent sound.

The tube is thoroughly tested and has NOS electrical values (note test results below).

Please read our test notes and shipping policy before buying !
