Ultra rare Silver plate ECC82 twin triode, made by Siemens & Halske in Munich; Germany
This ECC83 tube is produced by the Siemens & Halske factory in Munich, Germany. The tube has a double post ring getter and silver plates, see pictures. Very healthy new old stock tube! Although the print is almost vanished the tube is assumed to be.
Sonics
The silver plate Siemens & Halske tubes are sought after for their sonic performance! It has a sound character that is very similar to the the Mullard long plates. Liquid midrange, solid low, sparkling high notesand very 3-dimensional. Excellent preamp valve, low noise, very good in phono stages. Balanced and smooth sounding with clear vocals,, recommended!
