Description
One: 12AU7 RCA side getter, grey plates made by RCA in USA.
This was developed by RCA around in the fifties and has a low distortion, noise and microphonics. The tube has grey plates and comes unused in original box (see picture). The RCA clear top is a highly sought after tube for its vintage sound and cool looks.

Sonics
Excellent preamp valve, low noise, very smooth extended highs, very good in phono stages. Some say the side getter contributes to the low microphonics of this tube. Wonderfully balanced airy highs, midrange warmth, and accurate bass. Smooth!
