Description
This pair early Philips Miniwatt E88CC SQ tubes is made by Philips in the Netherlands (Heerlen plant).
These Special Quality tubes have a grey shield and halo-getter. The very strong tubes have balanced systems and have perfect tube-tube match; better than 2% match !! Both tubes are manufactured in 1966 (5 weeks after each-other).
Very reliable, long life and low noise version of a ECC88 tube which is mostly used for military, professional or postal purposes.The properties of the /Philips E88CC SQ are legendary and widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information.
The tubes are thoroughly tested. The matched pair has strong test values that match the factory specifications extremely well and and both tubes have balanced systems. See test results below.
