Description
This is a Telefunken ECC82 made in Berlin Germany.
The properties of this tube are widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information. The smooth plates version of the Telefunken ECC82 a scarce. The printed code on the box (and partly on the tube) indicates that the tube is manufactured in 1961 in the Berlin plant in Germany. The tube has the typical smooth long plates structure of the Telefunken ECC82 with the diamond bottom. The tube does not shows signs of use and has NOS test values that match the factory specification very precisely and balanced systems.
Excellent valve, low noise, very smooth extended highs, very good in phono stages.
