Pair: Long smooth plate ECC82 twin triodes; NIB
This is a pair ECC82 twin triodes is produced by the Philips factory Elektrinski Industrijia in Nis, Yugoslavia. The tubes have small ring getter and long smooth plates, see pictures. Very healthy new old stock tubes in their original boxes!
The tubes are new in their original box. This tube is a real bargain!
Sonics
The EI Philips ECC82 is has a sound character that is very similar to the smooth plate ECC82 from Telefunken. There go rumours that EI in fact did use the former Telefunken production equipment for this tube!. Excellent preamp valve, low noise, smooth and clear vocals, very good in phono stages. Balanced and smooth sounding with warm to neutral midrange, recommended!
