Pair: ECC81 made in by Tungsram. Hungary
Tungsram located in Hungary was known for their light bulbs and electronics. Before the nationalization of the Communist Government in 1945, the company was the world’s third largest manufacturer of light bulbs and radiotubes, after the American General Electric and RCA companies.
This pair ECC81 tubes is produced by Tungsram in Újpest; which today is a part of Budapest. The tubes have a double post halo-getter and half box plates, see pictures. The tubes have a slightly different print but are internally equal. The tubes show no signs of use and are most likely never used. See pictures.
Tungsram tubes are highly regarded for their reliability and their sonic performance.
