Description
This is a pair ECC801S produced by Telefunken in Ulm Germany. One tube bears the old Telefunken date code which implies that the tube produced in 1957. The other tube has an intermediate date code it ands with 57 so it is assumed that this tubes is from the year 1957 also. The tubes have a triple micas, typical plate structure (see pictures) and two halo getters, see pictures. Very healthy tubes with excellent specs! Tubes with matching triode systems; see test results. This is a super low noise tube! The early sixties tubes are the best sounding, best made and most valuable of all the Telefunken ECC801S audio tubes.
