Description
This 12AU7A tube is produced in 1960’s by CIFTE in France.
Many french tubes were available from Compagnie Industrielle Française des Tubes Electroniques (CIFTE) under their Mazda-Belvu brand (originating from Societé Radio Belvu.
The tube has a typical design; see pictures. The tube has a halo getter and grey plates. The tube date code is 6052; so most likely manufactured in the december of 1960.
The sonic properties of the Mazda 12AU7A is described as: “These tubes give wonderful imaging, sparkle, dynamic, organic and open sound with a holographic 3D-soundstage”.
