Description
This is a pair of Telefunken ECC802S in original box made in Ulm Germany.
The properties of this tube are legendary and widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information. Telefunken produced a very limited number of these beauties.
The printed codes on the glass of both tubes indicates that the tubes were manufactured in 1962 and 1963 in the ULM plant in Germany. The tubes have the typical plate structure of the Telefunken ECC802S with reinforcement and of course the diamond bottom. The tubes are don’t show signs of use and have NOS test values that match the factory specification very precisely and balanced systems.
This pair is a real jewel, so please excuse the high price.

Test method & results
The tubes have been tested carefully with the published Telefunken (and Philips, Siemens etceteras) test conditions for premium tubes and our sophisticated test equipment. In the Telefunken publications the test values for a new tube and the end-of-life values obtained with the test conditions are specified also. Please read our testmethod for the ECC82 tube family.
Note: The Telefunken test conditions result in lower test results above the rated value and higher results below the rated value than the fixed bias test approach.
The measurement results below show that both systems are matched and balanced. And fulfill the factory specs of a new/NOS tube.
