This is a Telefunken ECC81 produced by Siemens & Halske in Munich, Germany. The tube is assumed to be unused. The tube is a half box plate with two holes and a halo getter, The date codes VF3 # 6B is clearly visible and indicate Februari 1966 as production date. Very healthy tube with good specs; see test results.
Sonics
The tube type is highly regarded; I refer to the few threads on the web for more information. Excellent valve for the preamp section; low noise, very smooth extended highs. Balanced and smooth sounding, recommended!
