Description
Once in a life time opportunity !
A NEAR NOS pair of this age is very rare !
Description
This is a very early Telefunken ECC83 pair. The tubes measures and look unused.
The properties of this tube are legendary and widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information. The ya code on the glass of the tube indicates that they are manufactured in 1960 in the Telefunken plant in Berlin. The tubes are thoroughly tested and have excellent test values that match the factory specification very well. They are paired and have balanced systems. Very strong tubes!
Sonics
The sound of the early Telefunken ECC83 is highly regarded; often described as open, neutral and spacious. I refer to the web for more descriptions of the sound properties. Excellent preamp valve, low noise so very good in phono stages. Balanced and smooth sounding with neutral sound, recommended!
Test results*
The measurement data below show that both tubes are precisely matched and balanced. And fully in line with the factory specification for a NOS-tube.
