Description

Once in a life time opportunity !

A NEAR NOS valve of this age is very rare !

Description

This is a very early Telefunken ECC83 tube. The tube measures and looks unused.

The properties of this tube are legendary and widely known. I refer to the many threads on the web for more information. The ya code on the glass of the tube indicates that it is manufactured in 1960 in the Telefunken plant in Berlin.  The tube is thoroughly tested and has excellent test values that match the factory specification very well and balanced systems. A very strong tube!

Sonics

The sound of the early Telefunken ECC83 is highly regarded; often described as open, neutral and spacious. I refer to the web for more descriptions of the sound properties. Excellent preamp valve, low noise so very good in phono stages. Balanced and smooth sounding with neutral sound, recommended!
